Watching trends on Twitter has become even more important recently, as more businesses and individuals have turned to the popular microblog to tell the world about their daily activities and recommend content. For the people who are wondering exactly what the advantages of monitoring streams we offer the following:

1.No matter if you are tweeting for your friends, your business, or your employer you can use monitoring of Twitter streams to figure out what kind of content is being passed around or retweeted the most. Triple indented listings are multiple results from the same website on a search engine results page. They are usually associated with internal linking done well and the optimization of several of your site pages for the same search term. Until now you could only get double listings or multiple Google Sitelinks for your website. Recently a few triple indented listings have been spotted on Google results (They must be experimenting with that feature). This is a big deal because it essentially allows one website to show up on about a third of the results page and is a step before being approved for Sitelinks.

Here is an example of triple listing we spotted a few days ago for the LookupPage Blog:

This is big news for online reputation management, since many businesses and professionals would love to have this kind of exposure on organic search. But how does a website reach these results?  It takes both skill and patience. Being able to get the initial page indexed on the search engine is a great start. Writing additional content that deals with the same topic on several of your site pages and linking these pages increases the likelihood that the search engine will bundle the pages together.

Using LookupPage can also certainly help a business or a professional create multiple listings on search engines and establish a better Google CV.

April has been a very exciting month at LookupPage with new releases and even more changes on the horizon.  As part of our continuing efforts to provide you with the best experience possible, we have been working hard this past month on adding some useful features to the site.

From our understanding of how essential and vital communication is in shaping our world, business or personal relationships, we have launched a messaging system that allows all users, and people who visit your personal page to communicate with each other through direct emails.  All of this, while protecting your privacy at all times and of course, never exposing your personal email to anyone.

1.  Direct Messaging Feature:
We have added a messaging feature which allows users, visitors, and yourself to communicate with other people at LookupPage. 

Where can you send a message from?

  • On the People Search page, you can click on the “Send Message” link that is displayed next to every individual.
  • On the Business Users page, you can select a business organisation from the list, and then click on the “Send Message” link that is displayed next to every individual.
  • You can also send messages from the personal pages themselves!  Go to any LookupPage and click on the “Contact Directly” link that is located towards the top of the page.

How does it work?

  • Sending a message:  You can contact anyone on LookupPage using the “Send Message” or “Contact Directly” feature.  When sending a message, you will be prompted to enter your name, your email, and a message (limited to 2,000 characters).  Once you click “Send”, your message is sent automatically to its recipient.
  • Receiving a message:  Once someone has sent you a message, you will receive an email with the message details, and the sender’s email. 

2. Business Users:

On the Business Users page, you can select any company from the list to view all members, with an option to contact them directly or view their LookupPage.

3. New Page Design:
We have updated all LookupPage's with a new look that we hope you’ll find fresh and professional.  Login in to your account today and have a look at some of the new features on your personal LookupPage!

We are constantly working to make your LookupPage experience the best possible and we have some exciting new developments that will be released in the future.  In the meantime, we wanted to notify you about one recently added feature – add a suffix to your name.  After some research, we have created a suffix list that represents a broad range of professional and academic backgrounds.

A suffix is an element that is added after your full name, and represents diverse academic or professional backgrounds.  In order to illustrate, let’s take John Doe who is a medical doctor and has a doctorate in philosophy as an example.   On his LookupPage, John Doe has two options for his name:
1)  Enter his full name:  John Doe
2)  Enter his full name and suffix:  John Doe Ph.D., M.D

Regardless of whether you’re an entrepreneur, businessman, doctor, lawyer, engineer, architect, accountant, or a master’s graduate – you can use a suffix to represent your professional accomplishments which inevitably will add more value to your name when people are searching for you on the web.   From our experience, we recommend that you take full advantage the suffix and make the most out of your name on the web.

In order to add a suffix to your name, please login to your account and select the suffix that suits you best in the user details section.  To view the changes online make sure to publish your page.
